Japanese entertainment giant Sony has posted an online form to allow gamers to sign up to have a glance at the much-anticipated LittleBigPlanet (LBP) Karting.
LBP Karting is a kart racing video game being developed by Media Molecule in conjugation with United Front Games. Throughout the race, players can weapons and tools like seeking projectiles and grenades to attack and slow down rivals.
The main attraction point in the game is its ability to allow gamers to create any kind of game content they want. Previously in 2010, Media Molecule created user-generated content kart racing game ModNation Racers for the PlayStation 3.
ModNation Racers, LBP Karting will also be released on Sony's PlayStation 3 game console. The game is expected to release sometime later this year.
Describing the new game on PlayStation Blog, the company wrote, "Our goal with LBP Karting has been fairly simple- provide a fast-paced experience that captures the best of classic karting gameplay, married with the unbridled creativity of LBP."
Separately, Media Molecule's official site states that the developer is working on multiple new games that will be different from LittleBigPlanet, and that will be available on different platforms.
