Some Games That Stand Out At E3 2012

From June 5-8, there will be a whole lot of big titles on display at the E3 2012 show at Los Angeles Convention Center; along with some much-awaited game reveals, including Sony's The Last of Us; Microsoft's Halo 4; Capcom's Resident Evil 6; and LucasArts Star Wars 1313.

However, some of the games which will apparently stand out at the E3 event this year: Assassin's Creed III; Call of Duty: Black Ops 2; HAWKEN; God of War Ascension; Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two; and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's cross-platform sequel.

While Assassin's Creed III from Ubisoft will introduce new protagonists, including the native American Connor in the American Revolution-backdrop AC III and the black female Aveline in Liberation; Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is a futuristic shooting title which Activision will roll out at the forthcoming E3 event.

The show will witness Meteor Entertainment and Adhesive games offer the gamers the eagerly-anticipated first hands-on free-to-play Mech shooter HAWKEN which will go live online this December after its debut via Gaikai's cloud gaming service.

Among the other games which will seemingly stand out at this year's E3, Sony's new 3D PlayStation 3 action game God of War Ascension will mark a move back to the early years of Kratos; while Warren Spector's Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cross-platform sequel will introduce cooperative gameplay; and developer Junction Point's Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will stand out as the first musical video game.
